AI Accelerators

Don't start AI from a blank page

We design and build production-grade AI systems on Databricks from GenAI and LLM applications to MLOps-managed forecasting and decision engines. Embedded in your business workflows. Measured against real outcomes.
The False Choice

Fully custom sounds better than it is.

Every AI vendor will offer to build you something fully custom. It sounds appealing. It also means starting from zero on architecture, evaluation, governance, and integration, and paying full price in time and budget for problems other companies have already solved.

The reality is that most enterprise AI use cases, document processing, customer service, supply chain visibility, financial analysis, share the same underlying architecture, even across different industries. What differs is the data, the terminology, and the governance requirements.
Our Approach

Working systems, not slide-deck concepts.

After years of delivery across regulated, data-intensive industries, Datapao has built a library of production-tested AI accelerators: working solutions to problems we have already solved, ready to be configured to your data, your terminology, and your environment.

Every accelerator sits on the same governed, production-grade foundation, which means faster time to value, lower delivery risk, and a starting point grounded in what has actually worked elsewhere.

01

Configured, not generic.

The underlying architecture, evaluation framework, and governance model are proven and reusable. The data sources, business logic, and outputs are built specifically for your environment. You are buying a solved architecture, not a packaged product.

Governance is not what gets skipped to go faster.

Every accelerator inherits full Unity Catalog governance, AI Gateway orchestration, and structured evaluation by default. Accelerated delivery without skipped controls is the whole point, because an ungoverned fast pilot cannot become a production system.

03

Days, where the foundation already exists.

Because the architecture is already built and proven, accelerator engagements move dramatically faster than ground-up builds. For agentic use cases, domain-specialised deployments in less than a month is a realistic benchmark rather than a marketing claim, once the underlying platform and data foundation are in place.

AI Accelerators

Start with a defined scope.

Ship something real.

AI Accelerators are fixed-scope engagements designed to move a specific AI use case from concept to production fast. Each has a defined deliverable, a defined timeline, and is built on the same architecture we use for full-scale systems.
Proof of Concept
LLM PoC on Databricks
A time-boxed proof of concept for a specific LLM-based application. We identify the use case, design the architecture, build a working prototype on Databricks, and validate it against your data and requirements.
Deliverable
Functional LLM application with production pathway
View package
Production
Applied LLM on Databricks
A production-ready LLM application covering data preparation, prompt engineering, RAG architecture or fine-tuning, and a deployment and monitoring setup your team can operate. For teams ready to move beyond the POC.
Deliverable
Deployed LLM application with MLOps infrastructure
View package
Proof of Concept
ML Forecasting PoC
A scoped ML forecasting model built on your data: demand forecasting, churn prediction, anomaly detection, or similar. Includes feature engineering, model selection, training, and evaluation with a production recommendation.
Deliverable
Trained forecast model with performance metrics
View package
Infrastructure
MLOps Buildout
Design and implementation of the MLOps infrastructure that keeps AI systems running in production: model registry, training pipelines, monitoring, drift detection, and retraining automation, all on Databricks with MLflow.
Deliverable
Full MLOps stack - observable, automated, maintainable
View package
Enterprise decision support
Deep Research Agentic AI on Databricks
A multi-agent intelligence engine that answers why, not just what. An Orchestrator Agent breaks a question into subtasks, assigns them to specialised agents, and ties the results into one coherent, traceable narrative across systems that normally sit apart.
Deliverable
A domain-specialised agentic deployment, governed end to end through Unity Catalog.

How It Works

Match, configure, pilot, scale.

The same four stages for every accelerator in the catalogue. The difference between them is what gets configured, not how the engagement runs.
step 01
Match
We map your use case against the accelerator library to confirm fit. Usually one short conversation, and occasionally the honest answer is that nothing matches yet.
step 02
Configure
The accelerator is adapted to your data sources, terminology, and governance requirements. Adapted, not rebuilt: the architecture, evaluation framework, and governance model come as they are.
step 03
Pilot
A scoped, fast pilot proves value on your actual data before any large-scale commitment. Success criteria are agreed before it starts.
step 04
Scale
Once validated, the solution moves into full production with the same governance and evaluation rigour as any Datapao build.

Why Datapao

Every accelerator has real production behind it.

01
Databricks Gold Partner
Our accelerators are built and governed on the platform tier recognised for the most demanding, complex, enterprise-scale implementations.
02
Real deployments, not concept demos
Every accelerator comes out of delivered work that was executed multiple times.
03
Governance by default
Full Unity Catalog governance, AI Gateway orchestration, and structured evaluation are inherited by every accelerator. Faster delivery, with nothing skipped to get there.
04
The catalogue keeps growing
We keep expanding this library, so the accelerator that does not exist yet for your use case may exist by the time you need it.

Good to Know

Common questions before getting in touch.

Not sure whether an AI accelerator fits your use case, how much customisation is possible, or what it takes to get to production? Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often.

What is an AI accelerator, and how is it different from a custom AI solution?

An AI accelerator is a pre-built, proven foundation for a specific type of AI solution. Instead of developing everything from scratch, we start with an existing architecture, evaluation framework, and governance setup, then configure it to your data, business logic, and requirements. You get a solution tailored to your organisation without paying to rebuild components that have already been developed and tested.

How do I know which AI accelerator is right for our business?

We start with a focused conversation about your use case, existing data, technical environment, and business objectives. From there, we assess which accelerator best fits your requirements and what configuration would be needed. If none of our existing accelerators is suitable, we'll tell you and recommend a more appropriate approach.

Can AI accelerators be customised to our data, industry, and workflows?

Absolutely. While the underlying architecture and reusable components are already established, the solution is configured around your organisation. That includes connecting your data sources, adapting business logic and terminology, integrating with existing systems, and aligning governance with your security requirements. The goal is to accelerate delivery without compromising on relevance or usability.

Do we need an existing Databricks environment to use an AI accelerator?

Our accelerators are built specifically for Databricks. If you already have a Databricks environment, we assess its readiness and build on your existing infrastructure. If you're new to the platform, we can help establish the necessary foundation before deploying the accelerator. We'll identify any infrastructure or data preparation requirements during the initial assessment.
